Floor Hockey
Floor hockey is an indoor hockey game, played on a flat floor surface. Players on each team attempt to shoot a felt ring into a goal using a rubber tipped stick.
Athlete to Coach Ratios
The ratios are minimum athlete to coach requirements for not only Conference competitions, Provincial, and National Games, but for all Special Olympics Ontario competitions and practices. They ensure that athletes are safe and supervised at all times.

Helmets
All players must have a Canadian Standards Association (C.S.A.) approved hockey helmet, to which a C.S.A. approved full facial protector must be securely attached and not altered in any way. Any alteration to a C.S.A. approved helmet or full facial protector automatically destroys the certification. (A Canadian Safety Association approved cage shall be considered as appropriate facial protector). Enforced nationally.
