Special Olympics Ontario’s Unified Camp Partnership Program seeks to provide opportunities for meaningful participation and engagement in camp, sport and leadership experiences that will impact the lives of young people with and without disabilities and the staff and families that support them.

The pilot program for summer 2019 will create a network of camp programs that embrace and promote a culture shift through the inclusion of youth with and without disabilities to promote unified communities through sport and recreation at Day and Overnight Camps.

How it Works

Special Olympics Ontario has identified partner camps who support a unified philosophy of participation. These partners participate in training staff with Special Olympics Ontario who in turn will work with the camps to match athletes to their summer programs.
