Coach Certification Requirements for National Games
The following are the minimum recommended National Coaching Certification Program certification qualifications for various levels of involvement.
All Volunteers
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Current Criminal Record Check (within the last 3 years)
- Special Olympics Competition Sports Coach Course
- Making Ethical Decisions (this module is contained within some sport specific courses)
- Making Headway
- Safe Sport
