Coach Certification Requirements for National Games

 

The following are the minimum recommended National Coaching Certification Program certification qualifications for various levels of involvement. 

All Volunteers 

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Current Criminal Record Check (within the last 3 years)
  • Special Olympics Competition Sports Coach Course
  • Making Ethical Decisions (this module is contained within some sport specific courses)
  • Making Headway
  • Safe Sport
