Head CoachHead Coach Purpose To develop and implement sports skills training and competitive opportunities for athletes with an intellectual disability. Qualifications Knowledge of specific sport discipline Organized, independent, and self-motivated Strong Leadership skills Required to have completed the National Coaching Certification Program Special Olympics Canada Community or Competition Coach technical course within one year of becoming a coach Obtaining additional NCCP qualifications is highly recommended Duties and Responsibilities Sport Specific Conference Calls Attend annual Sport Specific Conference calls as scheduled within the conference.

Provincial Games Coach Position DescriptionProvincial Games Coach Position Description Purpose: Coaches selected to attend Provincial Games are required to make a commitment to their athletes, their sport and to their District Team.
