Brantford athlete set to compete in the Canada Summer Games

Taylor Bennett is a Special Olympics athlete from Brantford, Ontario, who has been participating in sports such as Athletics and Figure Skating for 9 years! Taylor always looks forward to meeting new people and seeing friends from around Ontario and Canada when attending competitions. For Taylor, Special Olympics is an opportunity to have fun with old and new friends, while cheering on fellow athletes. Taylor's best memory from Special Olympics is qualifying and competing at Figure Skating Nationals in Thunder Bay, where they won the silver medal! 

Taylor wants to reiterate the importance of this cause to sponsors and supporters of Special Olympics, and explains that these events make everyone feel included. Taylor shares how all the athletes are friends and enjoy cheering each other on at competitions, and keeping in touch throughout the rest of the season. Support from donors and sponsors helps athletes like Taylor attend Provincial and National competitions!
