On Saturday, July 20th, join us for the second annual Global Day of Inclusion in an effort to rally the world to #ChooseToInclude, shifting perceptions of and behaviours toward people with intellectual disabilities, so we focus on that they CAN do, instead of what they can't.
This year's donut was designed by 26 year old Tori Ranson from Georgetown, ON. The longtime Special Olympics athlete – and basketball MVP – is a champion of inclusion in her community and well known at her local Tim Hortons.
On July 20, visit your local Tim Hortons to buy this limited edition, one of a kind Special Olympics donut and post to social media with the hashtag #ChooseToInclude, tagging @SOOntario on Twitter or @SpecialOlympicsOntario on Facebook or Instagram, to show you believe in the power of inclusion. Proceeds from every donut sold will support Special Olympics programming in communities across Canada. Special thanks to @TimHortons for showcasing their support of the Special Olympics’ movement!
For Special Olympics Ontario accredited communities/programs and Law Enforcement Torch Run services and agencies: don’t forget to participate in the Photo Challenge! Click here for more information on how you can #ChooseToInclude
