Join Us at the Toronto Pride Parade!
Dear Special Olympics Ontario Community,
We’re excited to share that Special Olympics Ontario will be proudly participating in the 2025 Toronto Pride Parade — and we want YOU to join us!
🗓 Date: Sunday, June 29, 2025
📍 Location: Downtown Toronto
We will be meeting at Budd Sugarman Park: 955 Yonge St, Toronto ON. Pictured above for ease of viewing.
You will be required to find your own transportation to make it to the parade. Please be aware that you will be required to stand and walk for the duration of the event, roughly four hours.
As we will be nearby the Rosedale Station, there is TTC access for those who need transport, but we will not be able to provide rides or other such support.
🕒 Time: Parade kickoff is at 2:00 PM, PLEASE arrive early, we will begin our meetup at 12PM so we can get a head count and pass out shirts. The marcher arrival is expected to be at 1PM, so we need to get there before then.
We will be starting the parade at Rosedale Valley Road and Park Road.
This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate inclusion, diversity, and love — values at the heart of both the Pride movement and the Special Olympics community. Whether you’re an athlete, coach, volunteer, family member, or supporter, everyone is welcome to walk with us and show their pride!
We’ll be marching, dancing, and waving our flags high — united in joy, acceptance, and allyship. Special Olympics Ontario shirts will be available, and feel free to bring your own festive spirit and rainbow gear!
Spots will be limited, so be sure to sign up early!
Please note: You will be required to get yourself to and from the meeting spot for the Parade.
