We are thrilled to announce the district training squads for the upcoming 2025 Special Olympics Ontario Provincial Summer Games, presented by the Wayne Gretzky Foundation! Hosted by the Brantford Police Service in partnership with Six Nations Police and the Ontario Provincial Police, the Games will take place in Brantford in July 2025.
District Representation Across Ontario
Athletes from across the province have been nominated to training squads in the following districts:
- South Central Ontario
- South West Ontario
- Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
- North West Ontario
- North East Ontario
- Central Ontario
- Eastern Ontario
These squads represent the remarkable talent, dedication, and sportsmanship that define Special Olympics Ontario.
What Are District Training Squads?
The district training squads represent the incredible talent and dedication of athletes across Ontario as they prepare for the 2025 Provincial Summer Games. These squads are a vital step in the journey to the Games, bringing athletes together to train, develop skills, and build teamwork as they get ready to compete on the provincial stage.
While these squads highlight the athletes who have been identified to represent their districts, these squads are subject to change, and new athletes may be added based on the ongoing identification and endorsement process.
