Submit your Application by following the steps below.

Fill out the following Form to register Group Home
Click here to go to complete the form.
From the portal home page select REGISTRATION from the right menu.
In Registration window
Select Your Chapter – SO Ontario
Fill out Group Home Employee information who will be administering Group Home athlete’s information
Select Group Home Coordinator in Tell Us Who you are..
Click Register – Validate Member
Following window will tell that system did not find your record. To complete your registration fill out following three fields by reentering your email address and password twice.
Then click Register
Following window is your landing page. Here are particulars of this window:
Blue Menu – all options in this menu are to view/ update group home admin information.
Pink Menu – all options in this menu are to view / update information of Group Home already registered Athletes
Add New Participants – Register your New athlete from this menu (instructions to come)
Organization Notifications – You will see important notifications posted by Special Olympics Ontario
To register new athlete, on the Athlete – Join Program page please select “SO Ontario” from the Chapter drop down list. Then indicate that you are filling the form out for “Myself”. Actually you have to fill in your athlete information as title says Participant Information. Then click on the Next Step - Validate Member button
A window will pop up saying “Profile Not Found” please click on the Next Step - Waivers button
You must agree to the first three waivers by selecting Yes in order to proceed to Next Step – Program Search
In the program search window select your Region and Community. You can choose to filter by sport as well if you would like to. (Do not use the days of the week filters). If there is a specific program you would like to apply for you can choose it from the Search Results.
Once you have selected the program you are interested in click the Next Step - Member Profile
Follow all steps till Enrollment Details window. Review enrollment information then click on Submit - Enrollment. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you once your application has been Submitted
Select Group Home Participants to view your newly registered Athlete
Select Enrollment History tab to view enrollment of your New Athlete.
This enrollment will be viewed by Community/Program registrar to approve it based on the vacancy in the program.
