Owen Konkle is a Special Olympics athlete from West Niagara, who has been competing in events for the past 10 years! He participates in both Curling and Athletics, and loves Special Olympics because it gives him an opportunity to play sports and meet tons of new friends. Owen’s favourite memory from his time with Special Olympics so far was when he went to the National Summer Games in Nova Scotia!
When partaking in Special Olympics events, Owen most looks forward to meeting new people, and having fun. He wants to thank the donors, sponsors, and supporters of these programs, and says the athletes couldn’t do it without this support.
