Adding References to Your Own Portal Profile

      I’m often asked by potential volunteers and council members how to add your references to your portal profile. Here’s how you do it:

      • Login to your portal profile
      • Click on “My Profile” at the top of the blue menu on the right-hand side of the screen
      • Click on the “Volunteer Profile” tab, the tab farthest to the right
      • Click on the small pencil-in-a-square icon to the left of your name
      • Scroll halfway down the screen until you see “Personal References” in red, then click the “Add” button to add your references (we require two references from all volunteers)
      • If you have already entered a reference, but would like to edit it, click the pencil-in-a-square icon next to the reference’s name
