This came up in a separate thread: “Community Data Admin needs clarification on enrollments waiting for approval”. One of the arguments against this seems to be security; the concern being that a club could add anybody in the province, approve the enrollment then have access to that persons personal data. That holds as much water as a sieve.
- While the enrollment waits on community approval the club manager or head coach can still go in and view the data. I was adding a coach to a club as manager and was able to confirm this.
- The person being enrolled receives an email alerting them to this fact giving them a heads up.
This restriction just adds to the data admin workload, and is confusing to the clubs.
