Mark your calendars as the Brantford Community Council invites you to their annual Athletics Meet Saturday, July 8th, 2023!

Time: 8:30 AM start time
Venue: Pauline Johnston School
Location: 627 Colborne St, Brantford, ON N3S 3M8
Events :
Track: 3,000m All / 100m Ladies / 10m Men / 50m All / 800m All / 400m Ladies / 400m Men / 200m Ladies / 200m Men / 1,500m All / 4 x 100m All
** 4 x 100m relay is a fun event. Registration for the relays will occur the day of the event. Any combination of athletes (age, gender) is permitted.
Field: Open Pits for shot put, long jump, standing long jump, javelin
** Field events will be operating with open pits. Athletes should plan their participation in the field events around their track events
Cost: $25 per athlete. Cheques should be made out to Special Olympics Brantford. Invoices will be sent to the teams prior to the event
Food: Lunches are provided for all athletes (please fill out lunch order when submitting the team entry)
Coach lunches will be supplied at a ratio of 1 coach for every 4 athletes.
Any additional lunches can be ordered for $8 per lunch (for additional coaches and parents)
** No lunches can be purchased on the day of the event
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, June 28th, 2023
*Minor changes can be accommodated after that date, but the main team entry must be submitted.
Additional athletes MUST be added by Tuesday, July 4th, 2023
Modification to events for each athlete can be accommodated up to Thursday July 6th, 2023

Eligibility Note – All athletes/teams with hopes of advancing to the 2025 Provincial Summer Games must compete in one competition (in their desired sport) during the 2023 Summer Sport Season to satisfy the 2-Year Eligibility Requirement for advancement.
