It is a brain injury that causes changes in how the brain functions, leading to symptoms that may include:<\/span><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman\"><br \/>\n\t\t\t<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color:black; font-family:Arial; font-size:12pt\">Headache<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:black; font-family:Arial; font-size:12pt\">Dizziness<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:black; font-family:Arial; font-size:12pt\">Difficulty concentrating or remembering<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:black; font-family:Arial; font-size:12pt\">Depression or irritability<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:black; font-family:Arial; font-size:12pt\">Drowsiness or difficulty falling asleep<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"color:black; font-family:Arial\">Though concussions are common sport injuries, particularly among children and adolescents, their sometimes subtle symptoms may go unnoticed.
