Athletes must compete at the designated Provincial Qualifier for their sport specific conference in order to be identified to attend Provincial Games. Athletes may advance from Provincial Games to National Games.<\/span><br \/>\n\t\t<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Arial; font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"color:black\">Provincial Games are held on a 4-year rotating basis for each season:<\/span><br \/>\n\t\t<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color:black; font-family:Arial\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\">Spring Games take place every four years in May or June<\/span><span style=\"font-size:10pt\"><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:black; font-family:Arial\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\">Summer Games take place every four years in July or August <\/span><span style=\"font-size:10pt\"><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:black; font-family:Arial\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\">Winter Games take place every four years in January or February <\/span><span style=\"font-size:10pt\"><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:black; font-family:Arial\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\">Provincial Floor Hockey Championship &amp; Provincial 5-Pin Bowling Championship takes place every four years in April or May in the same year as the Winter Games <\/span><span style=\"font-size:10pt\"><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:black; font-family:Arial; font-size:12pt\">Athletes must meet all eligibility and endorsement criteria and may compete in only ONE sport per Games.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Arial; font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"color:black\">Please refer to the sport policy section for policies on identification and eligibility for Provincial Games.<\/span><br \/>\n\t\t<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Arial; font-size:12pt\"><strong>National Games<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Arial; font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"color:black\">Organized by the National Games Organizing Committee and Special Olympics Canada, National Games brings athletes together from across the country. Athletes must compete at the Provincial Games in order to be identified to attend National Games. Athletes are identified from National Games to advance to World Games and must meet endorsement criteria.<\/span><br \/>\n\t\t<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Arial; font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"color:black\">National Games are held every two years, on a rotating basis between Summer and Winter seasons.
