font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"color:black\"><strong>Purpose<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n\t\t<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Arial; font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"color:black\">An objective of Special Olympics Ontario is to ensure that the school athletes are aware of and becoming members of the SOO community programs. \u00a0The Transition Coordinator will focus on &#8220;transitioning&#8221; student-athletes between the ages of 18 and 21 years old that are registered in SOO school programs into the community programs.<\/span><br \/>\n\t\t<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:black; font-family:Arial; font-size:12pt\"><strong>Qualifications<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color:black; font-family:Arial\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\">Excellent Communication Skills<\/span><span style=\"font-size:18pt\"><strong><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:black; font-family:Arial\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\">A strong knowledge of the SOO community programs in their area<\/span><span style=\"font-size:18pt\"><strong><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:black; font-family:Arial\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\">Communicate with the Provincial Office on developments, concerns, and issues in relation to transiting graduating athletes into community programs<\/span><span style=\"font-size:18pt\"><strong><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:black; font-family:Arial\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\">Help in the recruitment of new volunteers, by informing the parents of the graduating athletes about volunteer positions available in the community<\/span><span style=\"font-size:18pt\"><strong><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:black; font-family:Arial\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\">Upon vacating the position all files etc. must be passed on to the new Transition Coordinator<\/span><span style=\"font-size:18pt\"><strong><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:black;
