7000-300 Provincial Games: Provincial Games Structure<\/strong><\/span>

Special Olympics Ontario Provincial Games Structure shall consist of Spring, Summer and Winter Games taking place on a four year cycle.<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Spring Games:
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

These games shall take place every four years (2020, 2024\u2026) in May or June with the following sports being contested:<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Aquatics<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Basketball <\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

10 Pin Bowling<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Powerlifting <\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Rhythmic Gymnastics<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Summer Games:
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

These games shall take place every four years (2021, 2025\u2026) in July or August with the following sports being contested:<\/span><\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Athletics<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Bocce<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Soccer<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Softball<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Golf<\/span><\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Winter Games:
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

These games shall take place every four years (2019 2023\u2026) in January or February with the following sports being contested:<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Alpine Skiing <\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Figure Skating<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Nordic Skiing<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Snowshoeing<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Speed Skating<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Curling<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Provincial Floor Hockey and 5-Pin Bowling Championship:<\/strong>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

This championship shall take place every four years in April or May in the same year as the Winter Games (2019, 2023\u2026).<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Athlete Eligibility:
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Athletes must meet all eligibility criteria and may compete in only ONE sport per Games.<\/span>
