Special Olympics 2017 Team Canada to Be Celebrated in Ottawa

Special Olympics Team Canada, who competed at the 2017 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Austria in March 2017, will be honoured by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Minister of Sport & Persons with Disabilities, Kent Hehr in the House of Commons on Wednesday, November 29, 2017.

Similar to the presentation made to Olympians and Paralympians after the Rio Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2016, Special Olympics Team Canada will be celebrated for their  accomplishments on the world stage at the 2017 Special Olympics World Winter Games this past March.
