Bloorview Research – Coaches Interviews

Re: Understanding the health & wellness needs of Special Olympics athletes

We invite you to participate in a study conducted by a team of researchers from Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, Bloorview Research Institute, and the University of Toronto. We are hoping to gain a greater understanding of the health and wellness successes and goals of Special Olympics Canada’s athletes, through the perspectives of coaches. The findings of this research project may be used to help improve the quality of tools and services being provided to athletes involved in Special Olympics Canada.

To participate, you must be a Coach for a Special Olympics Canada Chapter (current or former).

Your participation involves an interview in-person if you live in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), or by telephone if you live outside of the GTA. This interview will take about 45-60 minutes.

If you would like to learn more about this study, what will be asked of you, or to participate, please contact Yani Hamdani at (416) 425-6220 ext. 3583 3583 or at yhamdani@hollandbloorview.ca.

Thank you in advance for your consideration!
